Point Level Measurement

Bindicator point level measurement products are on/off devices with relay or switch outputs. Point level sensors indicate when material in a vessel is present or absent at a specific point. These durable, simple devices require little to no maintenance and are easy to install and set up. Bindicator offers a range of point level measurement products shown below

Bindicator Series

  • Bantam

    Bin-Dicator® Diaphragm Switch

The original electro-mechanical point level switch, Bin-Dicator® diaphragm-type level controls were the first to enjoy general usage in the industry. Bin-Dicator® controls eliminate bin overflow, empty bins, clogged conveyors, choked elevators and resulting damage and waste.

  • Levelite Optical Sensor

    Levelite Optical Sensor

Levelite optic probes sense the presence or absence of liquid using an infrared light source and detector often used in level measurement.

  • Liquid Level Bindicator

    Liquid Level Bin-Dicator®

Non-Contact Liquid Level Bin-Dicator® control is a low cost, floatless, pressure sensitive, diaphragm actuated switch that automates the filling and emptying of containers. The actuated switch requires 5” of head pressure on the riser for actuation. Durable, trouble-free performance is assured because none of the few moving parts come in contact with the liquid. A standard 1” pipe and coupling is all that is required for top of the vessel mounting on almost any size or shape vessel.

  • Mini Roto-Bin-Dicator®

    Mini Roto-Bin-Dicator®

The impact resistant injection molded Mini Roto-Bin-Dicator® has been designed for use in small bins and hoppers where mounting space is at a premium. This compact and rugged level sensor includes adjustable sensitivity allowing it to be used in materials with densities between 5 lbs/ft3 and 65 lbs/ft3.

  • Pulse Point™ II Series

    Pulse Point™ II Series

Pulse Point™ II Series models sense when a material reaches or leaves a particular point. These point level switches use electronic vibratory technology to sense the material. This mechanical operation is not affected by the dielectric constant of the material being measured.

  • Pulse Point™ LP-500ST

    Pulse Point™ LP-500ST

The LP-500ST is a vibrating rod used for level measuring. This series of vibrating rod level switches are robust instruments designed for low and high level indication of granules and powders with a minimum of 3.12 lb/ft2 (0.05 kg/dm3) density. The LP-500ST is a vibrating rod that senses material using a mechanical principle and is not affected by the dielectric constant of the material. This makes it an ideal sensor in plastics, dust, shavings, cement, lime, sand, grain, feed, sugar, and many others.

  • Roto-Bin-Dicator® PRO

    Roto-Bin-Dicator® PRO

The Roto-Bin-Dicator® PRO is a paddlewheel type level device that outperforms others in its class. This simple device monitors the level of dry bulk material and indicates when there has been a change. The fail-safe PRO model is unique in that it comes standard with functional diagnostics that detect a unit fault even when the paddle is buried in material; unlike other paddlewheel devices.
