Thomson Nyliner bearings are ideal for use in extreme environments. No other bearing requires as small an area for installation. The very thin walls mean housing bore sizes need only be slightly larger than the shaft diameter. When product assembly must be fast and simple, Nyliner bearings are a designer’s first choice. The compensation gap allows easy bearing installation in seconds, simply by squeezing the bearing and slipping it into its housing. When the bearing is released, hoop tension causes it to “hug” the housing bore prior to shaft installation.
